PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION
The primary responsibility of an Internal Salesperson is to cater to the requirements of our company’s stablished clientele, handle incoming sales inquiries, and provide essential support to our external sales team. This role is ideally suited for individuals possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. It serves as an invaluable opportunity for those aspiring towards outbound sales roles to acquire essential experience in the field.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matriculation certificate is required.
  • Preferably, candidates with tertiary or relevant qualifications are preferred, coupled with relevant industry experience and practical application knowledge.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet usage.
  • Demonstrated capability in typing documents efficiently.
  • Experience in costing and generating quotes.
  • Proficient in managing emails and correspondence.
  • Skilled in handling telephonic inquiries and driving sales through effective communication.
  • Ability to conduct technical bid evaluations.
  • Expertise in valve selections, sizing, and identification.
  • Competent in compiling tenders.
  • Proven track record of working within strict timelines and meeting deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Valve Internal Sales and Project Management.
  • Previous work experience in a similar industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Capacity to handle pressure and willingness to work beyond standard hours when required
