Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to provide Technical Sales Support for Aftermarket to Customer in the Region through site visits

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • A tertiary qualification in sales or a trade would be highly advantageous

Experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a technical sales capacity
  • Virtual / Video conferencing etiquette
  • Intermediate MS Office and CRM

Sales Management
Through close collaboration with Internal Sales Personnel

  • Analysis’s customers spend versus number of machines in operation in Region.
  • Determine which customer spend are to third party suppliers.
    • Determine reasons for 3rd party spend.
  • Develop and implement strategy to increase customer spend.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations.
  • Establish reasons for lost quotations.
    • Communicate reasons to Manager and capture on ERP.
  • Actively contribute to an increase in quotation conversion rates.
  • Be pro-active by continuously developing the sales funnel in order to achieve sales targets.
